Oh there was one other thing. I was doing some profile switching tests using calculator for 1 and notepad for the other. This way I was able to text something that was not Unity related. It's definitely is messed up, similar to the above the new profile was being switched on both the DS4 and the virtual controller, creating a new one again.

Which reminds me of another thought/request. Once you shut down IM you lose the app history and any way to edit events set for those apps without having to relaunch the game or app. Would there be a way to save any apps that have events for further editing, like a often used list, or better yet choose which to save.

Fist off I'm using the Sony dongle. First issue I was having I'm sure is do to the unity game not being able to detect loss of focus or termination. But I thought I would still report the behavior. Got a profile to load when steam bootstrapper runs and everything is fine on first startup. But had the game crash and on restart IM applied the profile to the virtual controller creating a second. So now I ended up with two controllers listed in the game to choose from. Every time I restarted a game a new controller was added until I reached the max, 5 virtual controllers listed Dev & Pr. By that time inputs were really sluggish.

But what makes me think something is not working right, when I turn off the controller the virtual 360 remains. Which then leads to the auto profile being applied to the virtual device creating another. I would think that turning off the controller would reset IM to Default. This brings up another inquire that is to have the Default profile listed with the available profiles to choose from. I'm sure there will be instances one would want to switch to the default profile. That would also make it possible to create some work a rounds by being able to choose default on loss of Focus or exit. Which leads to another topic.

Don't know if you read or understood in my previous post the need for a third event trigger. You have ON Focus, Not in Focus, but could also use On Exit. Sure there are going to be events you will what preformed when exiting that you don't want on Loss of Focus.

I think that's it for now.

Definitely, every thing is working properly so I'll leave you alone to get some work done. But will let you know if I come across anything that doesn't.

There may come a point where a filtering mechanism is needed because I envision commands in the future that will only work when tied to device events etc, but right now it’s time better spent elsewhere

OK I can see there is going to be a bit of a learning curve here. But as you can see it does get a bit confusing for us here at this end, even though you did mention the functionality of it in your check-in..

Because there is no filtering in place because that list is auto populated from all macro commands in the program because it is also plugin capable, it relies on a more in dept understanding of how the app works kind of like programming command into windows even in actual development

I wasn't talking about the category, but the option to min listed there.

Because there will be plenty of non UI based events in the fiture that make more sense to fire prior to other things loading

My next question would be why it it listed there, or another place holder.

OK makes sense

Maybe I should also mention that the minimize at windows start check box in thee general settings doesn't work. It's hard to tell really what is just a place holder or not, maybe you could color the icon, text or tab Red if just a place holder. Just a thought, guess would be best just to report all that I find not working.

Ok that fixed minimize IM when IM loaded, but as I mentioned in post 41 the same thing was happening if you chose to Minimize IM at IM Startup, which actually is the more logical choice.

Ok, made a tweak, that should work now with event in on loaded.

It"s actually acting as if the app is open though it's been minimized to tray.

global settings at startup or when launched does the same thing. minimizes to task bar is probably better terminology, though its the quick launch folder. It does not not work to open, need to restore by tray to get rid of it.

What are you attaching the action to?

yes can restore for system tray, not the from quick launch when it is minimized. The event creates a quick launch window/icon which is inoperative.

Not sure I get what ur saying, you can’t restore IM from the system tray? Double click does nothing for you?

Global settings command minimize. Displays quick launch icon that won't even open IM, prefer just to min to tray where I can make visible thru taskbar options.

Here's a session log of IM crashing opening window event viewer. Access denied like FSX. Been crashing every now and then but haven't been able to tell what lead to it, this time I caught it happening and is repeatable. Even the task manager will kill it.
