I hope this is the correct place to send information, and I hope this is the correct way to do it (I've attached the .json file to this post), but here you go, a report of one of my two Wii Remotes, with nice detail in what buttons are what bits and bytes, and what they should preferably map to (using an XBox controller as examples) when held sideways (with the D-Pad on the left and 1/2 on the right), and I go into high detail on the various technical issues with the Wii Remote in this tool, which

all seem to overcome just fine.
Also note that I have the "old" versions of the Wii Remotes. I think there are two or maybe three revisions of official Wii Remotes, with the "motion plus" add-on being built-in in later versions of Wii Remotes. This means that the hardware IDs and such might not match up with all Wii Remotes. If you'd like any more information, feel free to ask.
