Need advice for new BT adapter

3 years 4 months ago #1 by Niko Bellic
Hi, I bought a cheap BT adapter(made by chinese company Twister) which has >5.6 ms latency even with controller right next to it. When I move controller a bit away(about 1 ft), latency jumps above 10 ms, even reaching 30+. Its LMP version is 3.3164.
Where I live, I can only find two good BT adapters, rest are same BT 2.0 or are very expensive($60+). They are:

Promate BlueMate 4
www.promate.net/products/bluemate-4

Kinivo BTD-300(BT 3.0)
www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTD-300-Bluetooth-...dapter/dp/B005Z5HT2M

Which one is better, and if any new features will be added in future will they support them?

The second one you list is on Amazon, can you not purchase the recommended one ( www.amazon.com/Plugable-Bluetooth-Adapte...ativeASIN=B009ZIILLI ) from where you live?

Unfortunately amazon or ebay etc don't ship to my country, I have found only these two from local online stores.

Problem is neither of those give enough details to know if the chip set is compatible, is there an online retailer that does ship to you that I can see?

None that I'm aware of, it will cost me about $80 to ship the recommended one from amazon. These are the local online stores:
For promate: homeshopping.pk/products/Promate-BlueMat...ice-in-Pakistan.html
Kinivo: www.shoppingbag.pk/index.php?_a=amazon/v...productId=B005Z5HT2M

Can you find model BTD-400? The 300 may work but I know a few other users here that use the 400 with no issues.

Nope, I went to different shops etc to find it. I'll buy the Promate I guess. Thanks for your help.
