Long time user, first time issues

3 years 8 months ago - 3 years 8 months ago #1 by Kenneth Sherman
Hey! Been using Input Mapper since GTA V came out and its been by far the best controller pc hookup ever. Today I decided to boot up GTA again and my Input Mapper just would not open up. I figured, even with the updater saying its updated, that its just time to do a fresh re-install of a new version. I delete the old one completely and start fresh.

First problem comes once I decide to download it. I get this error which I can hit close and it will continue installing. I get all the way to me choosing the folder destination of the install and once i choose that I get the same error again.

I close out of it and try running the .exe and get the error i got from the get go that made me do this reinstall to begin with.

I quickly scanned the support forums and didnt find this exact issue so figured I would make a post! Hope this wasn't to much of a burden!

hey! So I did some digging and found out it was my .net framework that was all f'd up due to some stuff I downloaded or a pokemon go bot. Did a system restore and it is working like new! I should've known , this program has always treated me well! Thanks for the help!
