Macro support for trigger functions

3 years 2 months ago #1 by wirenut48
Forgot this feature in my request list. I have made attempts to manually edit the XML to change the triggers sensitivity, but without success. Is this currently possible to do as you can with the stick functions?

Only the left and right sticks are available in the dropdown with macros not the triggers. I believe I tried manually entering ±{LTSensitivity:0.5} but maybe it's the wrong command or it's not coded.

Trigger functions do work in the axis mapping.

Is it possible to manually edit the XML to adjust the trigger functions with a macro or is it not coded at this time? I'm wanting to toggle the speed of camera movement used with the triggers.

Here is a beta of the new control library I am working on, this should fix the right stick dead zone bug you mentioned as well as add manual support for trigger macro adjustment. The commands are just like the sticks are but with RT/LT instead of RS/LS. Make sure to backup your current one as this is still in the works for the upcoming release and may be buggy.

All worked, and now it feel my golf profile is complete. I think it helped with my swing consistency being able to start with the stick deadzone zeroed out and not some negative value. With the game being able to detect 0 axis swings and flag for cheating, an Axial DZ wasn't an option.

Just to let you know the auto launch quit working once I installed that beta file. I know you said it may be buggy, but so far that is the only thing that I have found that's not working.
