Exclusive Mode Tool Not Working

3 years 6 months ago - 3 years 6 months ago #1 by M L
Hello,

I am using my DS4 via bluetooth, but cannot get it to work in exclusive mode. I have read the threads on here and used the exclusive fix tool (after closing inputmapper/steam/origin etc.) but it always stays on shared mode. I have also tried manually following the steps detailed in a video on here (disabling the Bluetooth HID device and re-enabling it and so on), with the same result.

Unfortunately every fix I have seen on here hasn't yet worked for me. I am probably missing something obvious, but is there anything else I should be doing/trying when using this tool?

I am using Windows 10 (all updated).

Log is attached here:

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks!

Sounds like your issue isn't the Win 10 AU update (or at least noy your only issue). Seems you have a actual issue where a program is hooking the device. Try booting in safe mode or will all aps and non essential background processes disabled and see if you can connect.
