Where do i find battery percentage now?

3 years 6 months ago #1 by DeN
So prior to couple latest updates i could see battery level on the home page if the controller is connected.
Now home page is littered with news and the only indication the controller is even connected is the small icon highlighted with green color. That's it? Can't find it anywhere? Was it removed?

The color bar behind the controller icon is the battery percentage, will likely be swapped out for a PS4 style battery icon at some point

And no latency log anymore?

I used this quite a bit to detect if I was indeed having latency issues due to the horrible range of using ds4 on pc

Really liked having a (at least to 10%) battery meter

The battery meter is the bar behind the controller icon, the latency will only display if it is bad, otherwise signal strength is indicated by the number of bars appearing above the controller and a warning if it gets bad enough.

It would be so awesome if we can at least see latency and battery percentage on cursor hovering over controller icon.
Update is nice, but it lacks some usefull features...

I like the idea of a balloon popup with details on hover. Will add it to the todo. Possibly in the taskbar aswell.

Good call on the popup, definitely do like. But I want to sorta steer people away from that latency thing, to be honest it was a bad idea when I implemented it as it isn't really representative of the true latency, its really just time between controller packets with some math mixed in which isn't exactly the same thing.

This is what mine looks like now. Do you have a way to fix it?

EDIT: 1.6.5.118 fixed it.
