Solution to Data Rate and Signal Strength Problem

3 years 8 months ago #1 by Condoz
Don't know if anybody even has that issue, or if that helps others, but I discovered, that (at least for me) on Win10 if I have the Bluetooth settings window open the data rate and signal strength go to (basically) zero.

But as soon as I close or even just minimize that window the connection is as desired.
Don't wanna know how much nerves and grey hair this cost me, but though I might share this if anybody has that problem.

Yea ive seen this mentioned before, for me the best thing may bo to write in a sniiffer that warns the user if that window is open because apparently if the window is open its looking for/listening for new devices even if you dont want it to and thats eating up BT bandwidth.
