Axial Deadzone not working the same starting in IM 1.6

Title says it all. I use a 10% Axial deadzone because the deadzone built into my game on PS4 seems to be absent when using the PS4 controller on PC. Everything worked will in v1.5. Got a V2 PS4 controller so I upgraded to V1.6. About every 3rd time strange movement is registered that is not what the real movement is. For instance straight back and forward registers like a 45 degree curve. Odd.

So I tried my V1 Ps4 controller in IM 1.6. Same behavior.

So I reinstalled IM 1.5 and my V2 PS4 controller is not working (obviously) but the V1 Ps4 controller is back to its normal behavior.

Are you aware of any issues or workarounds with the axial deadzone in IM 1.6?

I am, dead-zone and sensitivity math in 1.6 were buggy, and I didn't hear about it until well into the development of 1.7. Unless you are doing special macros, 1.7a should work for you and has most if not all the stick bugs worked out.
