Input Mapper 1.5 + My controller freezes my pc

3 years 9 months ago #1 by Bob loy
Whenever I hook up my ps4 controller and have inputmapper 1.5 running it will freeze my computer. I have to shut it down and boot it up in safe mode before I can run it normally. I tried 2.0 but I couldn't get it working. I tried uninstalling the application and reinstalling it but it didn't work either. Any help? Do you need my log before it crashes?

Btw when inputmapper does work I love it and I'm glad you made it.

Do you have TS3, Radeon Pro, or any of the other incompatible programs running?

I have Teamspeak 3 installed. But I had it installed before and it worked just fine. I'll try uninstalling it to see if it works.

Hi there. I have a very similar problem.

When i run FIFA 17 demo my pc freezes. The only solution is to shut it down via the restart button on the case.
Through some tests i discovered that is the inputmapper that creates that issue.

Does anybody has the same or a similar problem ?
Can somebody help me out?

Thank you in advance amd sorry about my english, it is not my native.

Same question.

Thanks for your quick reply mate!

I do not have Radeon Pro, and i do not know what the TS3 is.

Can i see somewhere which are the incompatible programs?

I tried to play some Mortal Kombat 10 right now and my pc stutters a lot. I tried without input mapper and the game runs smoothly.

PS: I tried input mapper 2 but i couldn't get it work.

Team Speak. There is no official list as there are many that are unknown, but it certainly sounds like a program interfering somewhere.

Οh ok. I do not use team speak.

The thing is that i used input mapper a lot with the same programs as i have now without a problem.
To be quite honest at first i thought that something is wrong with my pc and i proceed to a format and a clean windows install..
But the problem remained so i started test things and the problem appears only when input mapper runs.

Anyway i hope for some update from the authors.
Thank you very much for your help mate!

I am the author. It sounds as if you have an incompatible program running at the same time
