Controller won't be recognized

2 years 8 months ago - 2 years 8 months ago #1 by Harm van Engeland
Hi you all,

The last couple of days I've been trying to install my Dualshock controller to my PC, but no matter what I try, InputMapper doesn't recognize my controller. I've reinstalled the program many times, I even tried DS4 Windows.
Also important, my PC itself does recognize the controller, labeled as ''Wireless Controller''.

I did try to connect my controller to another PC doing the exact same thing, and it did work perfectly fine then.

My PC is running on Windows 10, Version 1607. I am using the most recent version of IM.

My application log (if necessary):

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind regards,
Harm

if you have used libusbk in the past, make sure you fully remove it.

I don't think I used any program in the past named libusbk, the problem should be something else.

Make sure there is no libusbk first, check device manager.

How can I see that?
If I look in the vbusinstallation.log I can see the following: C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\scpvbus.inf_amd64_21ca245c0e23d7a5\scpvbus.inf

Don't know if you mean that?

In the device manager, the device properties has a driver tab.

You need to remove libusbk, IM is not compatible with it
