Issues With Idle Disconnect/PowerOff and Disconnecting USB BT Dongle

2 years 7 months ago #1 by SuperiorDrift
Hey guys, been using InputMapper for about a month and it's been great but I have run into two issues that I can't seem to get to work.

Here are the technical aspects of my computer:

DualShock 4 (Newest edition)
Genuine Sony USB BT Stick (The same one that came with the controller)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
(I suppose other aspects really shouldn't make a difference in this, but those are the crucial elements).

The first is that I am having trouble getting the idle disconnect to work. I have it set for 3 minutes (180 seconds) and my controller never turns off despite the checkbox being marked. Am I doing something wrong? The only way I've been able to turn off the controller is to unplug the USB BT dongle. That in itself creates the second problem I'm having.

When I reconnect the USB dongle, it creates a hardware connect/disconnect loop between recognizing a DS4 and a Windows controller. The same happens if I keep the USB dongle plugged in but then decide to exit InputMapper and then reopen the program.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
