Noticeable Input Lag?

2 years 1 month ago - 2 years 1 month ago #1 by zachisatadpissed
Recently I have been noticing input lag while I play Rocket League wirelessly with my official DS4 dongle to my PC. I measured the input delay inf DS4 Windows and it says about 8ms. If i read this correctly the speeds should be around 1.5ms wirlessly. If anyone has had similar issues or knows a solution please help me, I dropped back to Platinum.

1st off, the values that DS4Windows are displaying has nothing to do with latency. It's actually reading the Data Rate from the controller which is not properly being calculated. Issue is most likely bandwidth(other devices or programs running), or interference in signal.

So how would I test the input delay reliably.

Signal strength, maybe data rate, no way to monitor that I know of. Tell the truth I never have noticed any or worried about it. You can always plug it in if you want to make sure your not getting any lag.
