mouse cursor keeps moving

1 year 4 months ago #1 by pokcas
Hi, I just started using inputmapper and set up keys for my PS4 controller which is connect via usb cable.
However, after I connect my controller, my mouse cursor starts going from right to left and never stops unless I shut down the program and disconnect the controller. What could be wrong?

Also, not sure if this is related, I keep getting this error in a log even though I do not have Uplay/Steam open:

Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ]

To stop the mouse you need to add some axial deadzone to the stick. There is a sticky on how to fix exclusive mode at the top of the forum.

Asus STRIX X299-E GAMING MB, i7-7820X 3.6/4.5GHz 8-Core, 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum (CMD16GX4M2B2400C10), NVIDIA TITAN X (Pascal), Samsung 970 Pro 1TB M.2-NVMe w/Western Digital 2TB (WD2000F9YZ), Samsung 65Q9FN QLED, HTC Vive, 850w PS, W10

After adding deadzone nothing has changed. What should I do?
I am using Windows 10 by the way.

Are you using a custom profile and got it assigned to the controller?

Are you using the stick as mouse? If not you may need to disable trackpad as mouse in profile configurations.

Turning ''trackpad as a mouse'' on and off does not help.

Are you using a custom profile and got it assigned to the controller? What do you mean by this?

I have only one profile, mapped a few keys and that's it. In the settings chose it as my default one.

Fixed it myself, it was because I put right/left mouse clicks on R1 and R2 buttons and for some reason this caused mause cursor to move. Do you know why this happened?

R2 is analog so would imagine that has something to do with it, but not sure how a click command would effect cursor movement. You can set deadzones for the triggers also.
