DS4 detected in Emulators, but not working in any games or Retroarch

1 year 2 months ago #1 by in10se
Hey guys, the controller worked until yesterday with Inputmapper. Then I wanted to change the bindings for NES and used a new profile. Since then nothing anymore worked.

Retroarch can't be controlled with it anymore. Retroarch even isnt recognizing any controller. So I deinstalled inputmapper and made DS4windows and same issue. Windows can be controller perfectly with it, but not ingame. I tried the emulator "higan" and as you can see in the video, it is recognizing the controller. But when a game starts nothing is reacting or no input is recognized.

Can someone please help me?

With Inputmapper:

Connected a second controller and on Controller 2 it works with Emulator higan. But Controller 1 doesnt work in Higan and in Retroarch anymore. Controller 2 works in higan but not in retroarch.

Seams like something is blocking controllerport 1 for applications and even resetting retroarch to standard config didnt change anything. Before I could navigate through retroarch. Now nothing works anymore with retroarch.

looks like you may have a phantom controller using controller 1

Hi wirenut,

thanks for your input. How can I find it out and how can I change it?

Also, any idea why retroarch isnt showing anything?
