inputmappers capabilities

2 years 5 days ago #1 by athrun
I was using steams controller mapper and now for a game I am trying to play its causing alot of stuttering. I need a mapper that can shift to different controls while another button is pressed. Can inputmapper do that and if so how? I downloaded 2.0 and got all the plugins for it, I also got my controller working for it as that took a while to figure out.

So far this seems rather complicated.

If your using a DS4 you would be better off using version 1.6.10, 2.0 is still in beta.

Asus STRIX X299-E GAMING MB, i7-7820X 3.6/4.5GHz 8-Core, 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum (CMD16GX4M2B2400C10), NVIDIA TITAN X (Pascal), Samsung 970 Pro 1TB M.2-NVMe w/Western Digital 2TB (WD2000F9YZ), Samsung 65Q9FN QLED, HTC Vive, 850w PS, W10

ok I will give that a try but in case I don't get this answer while trying does this program have the ability to change from one set of controls to another?

What I am trying to do is this.To use my skill menu I need to press the key I use on R1 which while holding is on screen any button I click like XO[]/\ need to have the corresponding skill but when I let go of r1 goes back to the normal set.
