New PS4 controller CUH-ZCT2U wont connect

1 year 10 months ago #1 by BurnMage
This new controller isn't detected by my PC whatsoever as a device. It merely blinks a yellow light to show its charging. I've tried:

-Deleting old controller drivers and resetting PC

-Using a paperclip to reset PS4 controller via the button on the back

-Uninstalling and reinstalling Input mapper

Nothing works, the controller seems completely inert and windows 10 refuses to recognize it.

Try a different USB port, or cable, the cable may be charge only.
