ds4 v1 vs ds4 v2 (difference) input lag

1 year 6 months ago #1 by tayedash82
hi my topic is about both the first gen and the second gen i read in forums that while the new ds4 v2 enables USB through the ps4 it also adds input lag but the ds4 v1 is fine is this true? also why is Sony's dongle reading 8ms while when i'm on USB it reads 4ms does it matter when i'm playing competitive or something and my final question is about this hid guardian thing. does it add input lag or its just to hide the ds4 controller for exclusive mode

I don't think it's worth worrying about, as long as your getting good signal strength you are not going to notice any difference. I mean how are you going to feel the difference in a couple thousandth of a second.

This is why "latency" has been removed from all recent versions, it is calculated wrong. Completely ignore it.
